Christina lost 15 pounds off her 5’11” frame, but she also dropped five inches from her waist and four inches from her hips.
“I sleep better, am stronger and feel great. It’s amazing!” she said. “I’m never going back to the way I was.” Her advice: “Get out of your comfort zone and challenge yourself. I was comfortable with whom I was and yet I wasn’t healthy. My trainer, Debbie, challenged me to get out of the comfort zone, because that’s where the magic happens. And she was right.”
I got engaged the summer of 2012 and found myself very unhappy with my weight and physical health. I have struggled with my weight and motivation for years but I knew that I wanted to be happy with the way I looked on my wedding day. With the motivation to finally start a diet and exercise routine I set out to begin my journey to a healthier lifestyle. For several months I worked on my own and only saw minimal results.
In December of 2012, that changed when I met Debbie. I started meeting every other week with Debbie for private training sessions. She was able to develop an exercise routine that met the needs of my busy schedule that included working full time as a nurse, wedding planner, and part time master’s student. I simply followed her weight training routine for 30 minutes 2-3 times a week as well as followed her dietary suggestions. With Debbie’s encouragement and guidance I was able to reach my wedding goal weight and felt beautiful on my special day. I continue to see Debbie because she pushes me to maintain the healthy lifestyle changes I have made and to improve my health overall.
Eric started training with me in September of last year. He weighed 224 pounds. Since working with me he now weighs 172 pounds, is down 7 inches in his waist and 3 1/2 inches in his hips. When he started working with me he could not do 1 unassisted pull-up. He can now do 10! He is stronger, leaner, healthier and happier!
I’ve been working with Debbie as my personal trainer for 4 months now and have seen impressive results in such a short amount of time. I have much more energy on a daily basis, I am stronger than I have ever been, and I have lost 6 inches from my waist and over 40 lbs!
What I like most is the workouts are only two, thirty minute sessions a week. Debbie works closely with me to ensure my diet is on pace with my weight loss and muscle gaining goals. We focus on strength training during those thirty minutes and move at a fast pace to get a high intensity workout.
Since working with Debbie as my personal trainer, I receive several compliments a day on the noticeable difference in my physique. I have much more confidence and look forward to seeing the results after 1 full year, thank you Debbie!
Because of Debbie, I am now able to use heavy duty strength training machines. I no longer fear them and avoid them. I also learned how to use free weights correctly. Recently, my husband was amazed to see me lifting 20 lb weights. I was stuck on 8 lbs for years! Thank You Debbie for motivating me to push a little harder, and I am thrilled with the results!
Seven months ago I started strength training and eating clean. High protein, low sugar/carb diet. Quit the diet coke and stopped eating bread. Never looking back, I’ve come so far thanks to my trainer Debbie and good old fashioned discipline. I’ve increased my energy level 100%! As of my last check up I’ve lost 29lbs, 7pts on my BMI, and three jean sizes. I’m sporting size 12 these days! Inches INCHES lost! My exercise plan consists of strength training 2-3 times a week for ONLY 30 minutes. Today I lunged across the room with a 50lb bag..OVER MY HEAD…TWICE! Why? BECAUSE I CAN! I can do a set of push-ups and leg press today was at 280lbs. Just a short seven months ago, I never dreamed I would be this strong. Can’t wait to see what the next seven months brings. Here’s to health, strength and determination!

Debbie has a unique training approach – 2 times a week, for 1/2 hour each session – which allowed me to stop wasting time at the gym, and just work out smarter and at a higher intensity.She is an exceptional motivator and coach. I just signed on for my sixth 10-time series with Debbie and really want to make a point of how life-changing this has been for me. I work out with Debbie weekly for two ½ hour sessions. The weight training, combined with following her suggestions for changes in my diet, has made me feel much better about myself. For the first time ever, I feel strong! My sister-in-law and daughter also now work out with Debbie, and I recommend her to everyone I meet. It’s hard work, but it’s over in a ½ hour.
